Ok yeah, i realize how dumb that topic start was. But the question does in fact have to do with bouncing for Logic Pro.

All i want to know is which options would i want to go for most of the time, during each category.

Categorys are

PCM
MP3
M4A: AAC
Burn: CDDA

Just curious, because im a sound engineering noob.

Also Nathan Allen Pinard, This might be something you want to address in your How To thing. That is if you are reading this of course.

Uhh, Wave 16 bit, 44.1khz (16 bit is CD format, though some like to master at higher so do 24 if you want. As to the rest of them I don't know what's best but I do Interleaved and POW-r #1 (Dithering)

MP3

I use 80kbps mono 320 kbps stereo 44.1khz I don't use variable bitrate much because it drives up the filesize a bit and filesize is crucial when submitting to Newgrounds. Usually have to export somewhere between 112 and 192 kbps though 192 kbps is the lowest I like to go before quality starts to become a major issue and I'm not sure if Newgrounds even accepts VBR

M4A: AAC

No idea but iTunes uses Apple Lossless mainly so that's probably a good bet. Can't go wrong with lossless formats.

Burn: CDDA

No clue, though it looks like there's an option for CD and DVD in the dropdown menu

A few things:

If you are bouncing a stem for another program, or for delivery:

24bit WAV, no dithering, NO normalization

If you are bouncing a full mix to be burned to a CD:

16 WAV, use a dithering setting (usually I use PowR 3), Normalization is recommended

The MP3 option you can click also, to export and MP3 of the track for various reasons. I almost always have both PCM(wav) and Mp3
checked.
