Today I went for a walk

and what a long walk it was, my legs are in great pain but it was totally worth it for the birds I got to see.
I walked all the way from my city plymouth to St John's lake in cornwall and even thought the tide was out there were tones of birds.
most of them were herring gulls but not long after I got there a great big heron flow by me and out to the far end of the lake, it must have been a grey heron the only heron that stands a chance against a great blue heron. also in the lake I spotted the most beautiful bird I have ever laid my eyes on, a Little Egret.
So little and so cute I wanted to cuddle her. to round off the day a Cormorant flew over my head as I began to leave XD also saw another one on the ferry back to plymouth MAN I WISH I HAD A CAMERA :>

That sounds like a very awesome and inspiring walk! Not to mention walking's good for ya, but seeing all those birds makes it all the better, especially that Little Egret. Hope you have more walks like this in the future. ^^

It's far too cold for me to want to leave my bed yet alone going for a walk in the country :) Hopefully I will start again when it warms up a bit.
