We've all heard of this topic at one point or another that entails the use of energy grids by shamans, druids, and the like to create a magical effect. There are many leylines known around the world, some of them are:

-Sedona, AZ - various areas, labelled commonly as 'vortexes'. There are areas where the natural energy from the planet actually causes some of the trees in different areas to 'twist' at the trunk.

-Mt. Shasta, CA - trails around or near mountain, supposed reports of UFOS, ETs, and related phenomenon are common.

-Chichen Itza, Mexico - Mayan Pyramid Site. Every equinox there is a celebration for spring and fall; such a gathering of people towards a similar goal and event alone makes this a prime vortex ripe with energy since it is part of a repeated ritual yearly that also aligns with planetary bodies and night and day are also of equal length on the equinox.

Using these as examples what can we defer from this? Are they just clever illusions created by people due to the mass beliefs put behind these locations or others like them or is there more to this? The thing we must all remember is that in our own community, the furry fandom, we ourselves knowingly or not are creating energy nexuses ALL THE FREAKIN' TIME. Yep, you heard that one right and how?

If we look into our own history of planet earth we see several tribes which wore animal skins to connect to totems for reasons either material or spiritual, a lot of the time this was a means to gain the powers that each animal totem represented or to effect a type of mental shapeshifting as we see in various berserker legends as well. There are literally even accounts of, were-animals, in cultures worldwide.

Japan/China - Werefoxes/Kitsunes, royalty was seen as being 'part dragon'

United States - Skinwalkers, legends of shapeshifting animals

Africa - Were-hyenas, Were-jackals

Europe - Werewolves, Vampires, etc.

There are many more we could list without a doubt but what does any of this have to do with leylines, earth stargates and the like?

It is really quite simple: humanity is sensitive to the energy of the planet to a degree that it can mutate with it.

In the furry fandom, we have meetings, collectives of people, regardless of personal spiritual belief or scientific thought they are each bringing energy into acting upon a non-human figure at a con. It isn't about people doing this consciously since even unconsciously the effect is similar or even the same in some cases as some who are trying to actively have a spiritual connection to an animal totem. People begin to take upon themselves traits, behavioral and creative, which further implement the non-human in unison with the human levels of themselves as part of expression.

If we look at these events from a greater standpoint that its not just an event but a literal energy nexus, made by different people collectively and through our use of furry of all things, then perhaps we can begin to slowly realize just how powerful the energy our intent has.

We always ponder the notion of ''What would you do if you woke up as a fursona?'' or whether or not we would actually choose to say yes to such a possibility if it was offered. At the end of the day, what are we really saying here? We just might be inviting more and more of these traits into ourselves, not just creatively but literally given how much the energy of earth itself is very much alive and keeping us all floating within its magnetic field.

If we are consistently on a planet that has its own heartbeat which we can measure I think its safe to say we are a lot closer to unraveling the power found within energy leylines on this planet than we think.

The key isn't to realize they are there but to realize we can also create our own, by working together, and effectively utilizing our creative energy to better connect with not just the planet but with ourselves on both the human AND non-human levels whether that is therianthropic or furry in nature or a bit of both, I think its safe to say we are all curious as to what it feels like to tap into what just might be our 'true' selves.

Regardless of what differences in opinion we may share on the use of earthly stargates for personal power or shamanic workings there is nevertheless a very raw power source coming from the heartbeat of the planet, and respecting and connecting consciously with it might just guide us into unlocking more of our true potential.
